An idea, a dream or a challenge: there are no limits to what Serapian can achieve in leather. Bringing this ultimate mastery to its apex, Bespoke Masterpieces are larger-than-life objects developed step by step in close collaboration with the Serapian team. A client’s imagination guides this service, whose creations have ranged from a classic car’s interiors to furniture, as well as exclusive cases for jewelry and spirits, and large walk-in trunks.

Bespoke Masterpieces form the culmination of Serapian’s artisanal journey, and the pinnacle of its modus operandi: from the beginning of its history, we have always worked with enlightened clients on one-off creations that combine beauty, functionality and skill.

SECRET BEAUTY TRUNK 

Inspired by 1950s film stars, this monumental piece features interiors crafted in Serapian Mosaico and is equipped with hidden drawers and a backlit, diamond-shaped mirror, two details that pay homage to the iconic Secret Bag.

BESPOKE LEGACY

The finest Italian Mestieri d’Arte, impeccable design and skilled craftsmanship form the soul of Serapian, one of Milan’s best-kept secrets and one of the city’s oldest leather Maisons. Since 1928, Serapian has pushed the limits of what is possible in leather, guided by the vision of its founder Stefano Serapian and led by third-generation Giovanni Nodari Serapian. The brand’s Bespoke Atelier is situated at the Villa Mozart in Milan, a gem of Art Deco architecture conceived by famed Milanese architect Piero Portaluppi.

1. What type of personalization is offered through the Bespoke experience? Accordion arrow icon
The Bespoke experience features three main services. MOSAICO PERSONALISATION, through which you can choose the Mosaico pattern and color for some selected creations from the Serapian collection. MADE TO MEASURE, to design a bespoke bag starting from an existing Serapian creation or design a new one. BESPOKE MASTERPIECES, allowing you to create extraordinary pieces of any kind, from trunks to objects of interior design.
2. What products can be selected for personalization? Accordion arrow icon
You can personalize any bag and travel pieces, excluding small leather goods. Our trolleys can be customized only for color and material, their sizes and functionality cannot be changed.
3. How long does it take to finalize a Bespoke creation? Accordion arrow icon
Mosaico Personalization takes approximately 3 months from the order confirmation. For Bespoke Made to Measure and Masterpieces, times vary depending on the project and any changes requested during the creation’s development.
4. How much does a Bespoke experience cost? Accordion arrow icon
We invite you to contact us to share your needs and receive a price estimate for your project.
5. What is the payment process? Accordion arrow icon
Once the creation and its price have been agreed upon, the client will be asked to pay a 50% deposit. The remaining 50% will be required once the creation has been completed and before delivery. Any changes requested during the creation’s development could incur in extra costs. Delivery costs are included. For Bespoke Masterpieces, the client will receive an estimate for possible extra delivery costs. Payments can be made via credit card or bank transfer.
6. Can Bespoke creations be returned or exchanged? Accordion arrow icon
It is not possible to return or exchange Bespoke creations, as they are unique pieces that have been made to measure.
7. Where is the Bespoke experience available? Accordion arrow icon
The Bespoke experience is available in person by appointment at our Villa Mozart Atelier in Milan, at the Ginza Boutique in Tokyo or remotely worldwide, through a dedicated online service. You can also request a Bespoke appointment in our Boutiques in Milan and Rome.
8. What materials can be used for a Bespoke creation? Accordion arrow icon
The Mosaico Personalization is made of nappa leather. For the Bespoke Made to Measure and Masterpieces, clients can choose any type of leather including the most precious exotic leather, subject to approval and feasibility.
9. Is it possible to personalize a creation with initials or a logo? Accordion arrow icon
Every Bespoke creation can be personalized with initials and this is included in the price. A logo personalization needs to be discussed ad-hoc for feasibility, and will have a dedicated quote.
